Outdoor retailer Stio announced it will open three new Mountain Studio retail stores—in Freeport, ME; Bend, OR; and Boise, ID. The new locations bring the company's total brick and mortar store count to seven.
The Freeport Mountain Studio will open for the 2021 holiday season, the Bend location is scheduled to open in the spring and the Boise store will open in the summer.
“Brick-and-mortar retail brings the Stio brand to life. As a direct-to-consumer brand, our Mountain Studios are a great way to highlight our vision and values and allow us to connect with local communities in a much more meaningful way,” said Stephen Sullivan, founder and CEO. “The performance in our current Mountain Studios has been outstanding, and retail expansion remains an integral part of our long-term growth strategy.”
Along with the Mountain Studios, Stio said it “will continue growing its Outpost partnerships within these areas and customers will be able to find Stio styles at Outside/In in Bend, OR and Idaho Mountain Touring in Boise, ID.”
