Pure Joy Naturals marked the grand opening of its new manufacturing facility in Morden, Manitoba, recently, celebrating a major expansion for the growing natural wellness company.
The company’s award-winning natural wellness products are distributed nationally and internationally, a reach that has driven continued growth and the need for a larger production space. The expansion represents a significant milestone for Pure Joy Naturals, reflecting strong demand and opportunity.
Owners Coral and Rob Fehr, along with Production Manager Margitta Neumann and the entire Pure Joy Naturals team, expressed gratitude to the City of Morden, Morden Economic Development, and the Morden Chamber of Commerce for their support throughout the move.
Fehr spoke about the move to Morden, saying that, "Morden was actually a complete surprise for us because when you make plans, throw them out the window, there's other plans," she said. "Morden has been such a wonderful experience for us... We have so much business right now that we needed a larger facility."
Fehr said the help from the local economic development team played a big part in finding the right facility, and that Morden location has made shipping and delivery faster and easier for their customers.
She also talked about how important quality and following the rules are for their products, saying they are licensed through Health Canada to make sure everything is credible and safe.
She also highlighted Pure Joy Naturals’ growing international reach, naming countries including Africa, Australia, India, China, Germany, the United States, and Mexico. "We buy the ingredients from these countries... and then actually sell it back to them... We have the credentials and we have the trust.”
Clare Agnew, Executive Director for the Morden Chamber of Commerce, shared her enthusiasm: "We're just really excited to welcome Pure Joy Naturals to Morden... It's always awesome to welcome a new business to our community and we're happy to have them here."
She noted the significance of adding to Morden’s manufacturing sector, saying, "They do business all over the world and just to have another manufacturer in Morden means a lot to us and they're very active in the chamber community and in our business community. We think they're going to be a great addition to Morden."
