
Cutting-edge research and development business Fire & Risk Alliance is expanding to Dorchester County, Md., with the purchase of three lots in the county’s technology park.
Fire & Risk Alliance’s facility will include a 30,000 square-foot state-of-the-art testing laboratory designed to push the boundaries of safety research, as well as an advanced training facility and dynamic office complex. The company’s research is at the forefront of hazard mitigation analysis and fire safety testing, with a special emphasis on battery systems and energy storage solutions.

Once the project is completed, Dorchester County will have one of the largest hood and calorimetry systems in the world, available for commercial use. Fire & Risk Alliance’s vision extends beyond research; they are dedicated to creating 300 new jobs over the next decade, ranging from cutting-edge tech roles to skilled trades, boosting local growth and opportunities.
