Maryland Gov. Wes Moore announced that Regent Cabinet Solutions, a manufacturer of high-end cabinet and countertop solutions, is expanding its footprint in Cecil County. The company is leasing a new facility at Principio Business Park that will combine manufacturing and operational logistics, utilizing approximately 100,000 square-feet of space and creating up to 25 new jobs in the community.

“Regent Cabinet Solutions’ growth will bring continued economic recovery to Cecil County,” said Governor Moore. “This new facility will allow the company to grow its footprint while expanding its reach across the Mid-Atlantic, and will create more opportunities for people who call Cecil County and the surrounding region home.”

“We are excited to open the doors to our brand new warehouse which will consolidate and streamline our operations from three facilities into one,” said Reuvan Sternstein, founder and president of Regent Cabinet Solutions. “This new investment will allow us to continue to enhance delivering exceptional projects, while reducing operating costs and expediting project turnaround for our customers.”

Regent handles all aspects of cabinet and countertop solutions for the multi-family industry from product selection, manufacturing, ordering, delivery, and installation. The expanded space, located at 590 Principio Parkway West in North East, will house manufacturing, assembly, logistics and hiring operations. To assist with the expansion, the company is eligible for various state and local tax credits, including the More Jobs for Marylanders program and the Job Creation Tax Credit.

“Regent Cabinet Solutions is one of several companies to announce its commitment to doing business in Cecil County recently,” said Maryland Commerce Acting Secretary Kevin A. Anderson. “With this expanded space, the company can ensure quick and efficient service to customers. We are thrilled to support Regent’s growth and we look forward to seeing what it does next.”

Since the company's formation in 2005, Regent Cabinet Solutions has grown to include more than 90 employees while serving customers throughout the Mid-Atlantic region. Regent has successfully built and installed cabinets and countertops in more than 120,000 units across hundreds of multi-family complexes, such as apartment buildings and condominiums.

"We are delighted that Regent Cabinet Solutions has decided not just to remain in Cecil County but expand their operations and their workforce,” said Cecil County Executive Danielle Hornberger. “The new facility in Principio will be a great benefit to their employees and the Cecil County economy, and we are thankful for their investment in our county and its people."
