Retailer Stio says it will open later this fall an East Coast Mountain Studio in Boston, a staff of 10 to 15 employees. The new retail space, in the Boston Seaport neighborhood, will share space with other outdoor retailers, restaurants, hotels, and public open spaces on the waterfront.
“The opening of our Boston Mountain Studio is a significant step forward for the brand. It will join our recently opened Freeport, ME location as an East Coast hub, providing us with more ways to connect with our consumers in the surrounding region,” said Megan Odom, director of Retail. “In addition to being one of our top performing markets, Boston is an incredibly active community and a gateway to a variety of adventures across the Northeast.”
This is the third new store Stio will open in 2022 in addition to its five existing Mountain Studio locations, reports SGB Media.
The brand will open two new locations over the next month in Bend, OR and Boise, ID. The Bend store is scheduled to open August 19 at 844 NW Bond Street, and the Boise store is scheduled to open September 2 at 6th & Grove, in the Thomas Logan building across from the Basque Block.
