Bass Pro Shops opened a Bass Pro Shops Outdoor World in Sunset Hill, Mo., recently, which is the retailers' third location in the St. Louis area. The new 93,000-square-foot space offers equipment for fishing, hunting, camping, boating and other outdoor pursuits, reports SGB Media.
The store’s design incorporates a 14,000-gallon aquarium with 70 native fish swimming underneath stalactites hanging from an Onondaga Cave-like structure.
“We couldn’t be more thrilled to open a brand new store in our home state of Missouri,” said conservationist and Bass Pro Shops Founder Johnny Morris. “The St. Louis area is home to incredibly passionate sportsmen and women who love the outdoors as much as we do, and we’re excited to expand our ability to serve them while showcasing our iconic outdoor brands, including Bass Pro Shops, Cabela’s and Tracker Boats and ATVs.”
