NY: Craft Cannery Breaks Ground on Expansion in Bergen, Which will Create at Least Five Full-Time Jobs

Craft Cannery held a groundbreaking ceremony recently to celebrate a $1.5 million expansion at its manufacturing facility in Bergen, N.Y., which will double the size of the company's space. Company leaders, food manufacturing leaders, and community leaders attended the ceremony, reports RochesterFirst.com.

Speaking about the company’s humble beginnings, Pauly Guglielmo, the CEO of Craft Cannery said, “The first warehouse was my father-in-law’s basement where I was able to store securely 15 cases of sauce and I didn’t know if anyone was ever going to buy that sauce. No this is the wildest dream times about a thousand, Honestly, wildest dream was just getting in the grocery stores at the beginning with Guglielmo’s sauce. This is crazy.”

This expansion has been estimated to create more than five new full-time jobs in the area.
