“Since 1954, our family has been committed to serving communities with quality products, care and value,” said Lawrence R. Inserra Jr., chairman and CEO of Inserra Supermarkets. "This new location reflects that commitment by offering an extensive selection of national brands alongside a wide variety of fresh foods and prepared meals – providing convenience and choice for customers.”

The store will offer fresh groceries and restaurant-quality take-home meals, as well as national products and private label brands Bowl & Basket, Wholesome Pantry and Paperbird. It also will feature locally-sourced produce, a full-service butcher, from-scratch bakery and ready-made meals and to-go items. In addition, shoppers will find a selection of international products and cheeses, sushi, and frozen, dairy and floral departments, reports the Shelby Report.

The Fresh Grocer banner is part of the retailer-owned supermarket cooperative Wakefern Food Corp. The Inserra family and its Inserra Supermarkets are members of the cooperative, which operate 24 ShopRite stores in New Jersey and New York, as well as two Price Rite Marketplace stores and a Fresh Grocer in New Jersey.
