Sprouts Farmers Market is set to open a new store in Centereach, NY on Long Island on January 30, marking the first Sprouts store in the Empire State, as the specialty retailer brings new hiring opportunities and a shopping experience rooted in freshness, quality and wellness to the local community.
The new location will bring 92 full- and part-time career opportunities to Long Island. Sprouts’ healthy approach to grocery shopping means potential team members should share a passion for healthy eating and the fresh, natural and organic products available throughout the store.
Sprouts welcomes shoppers with a farmers market experience and an open layout featuring fresh produce at the center of the store. Innovative, seasonal and attribute-driven products such as organic, plant-based, gluten-free, dairy-free, keto, and more offer a treasure hunt shopping experience amid Sprouts’ better-for-you assortment.
The specialty retailer continues to expand its reach in other parts of the country. It opened three new stores on Nov. 7 in Bountiful, Utah; Fresno, Calif.; and Hacienda Heights, Calif., On Nov. 14, the retailer has plans to open four stores, in Venice and St. Petersburg, Fla.; San Leandro, Calif.; and Echo Park, in Los Angeles. It will also debut a new location in New Braunfels, Texas, in January.
For the year 2025, Sprouts will open a total of 37 new stores, exceeding its original target of 35, reports Progressive Grocer. A new $600 million credit facility is helping to provide the company with financial flexibility as it grows. Sprouts employs approximately 35,000 associates and operates more than 450 stores in 24 states nationwide.
