Gov. Jack Dalrymple today commended Menlo Worldwide Logistics for moving forward with plans to expand its supply chain management services in Bismarck and to hire additional employees. Menlo provides logistics support for Bobcat Company.

"This is good news for the Bismarck-Mandan area and another example of the diversified economic growth we are experiencing throughout North Dakota," Dalrymple said. "Menlo plans to expand its supply chain support operations and add 35 additional employees which will create a significant economic impact."

Menlo Worldwide Logistics provides Bobcat Company with component logistics and supply chain management services from its Manufacturing Support Center located in Bismarck's Northern Plains Commerce Centre. Menlo officials announced today that they expect to hire additional employees and open expanded operations in a portion of Bobcat's former Bismarck assembly plant.

Menlo's expansion will enable the company to augment its scope of work for Bobcat by providing pre-production engine machining, sub-assembly, kitting and delivery services. Menlo officials said they expect to hire additional employees and complete its business expansion in June.
