PA: Phoenix Tube Company Nears Completion of 75,000-Square-Foot Expansion in Bethlehem

Aug 28, 2025

Development and design/build firm, J.G. Petrucci Company, Inc., is nearing completion on a  75,000 square-foot expansion for Phoenix Tube Company, Inc., a leading manufacturer of stainless-steel tubing, rounds, squares, rectangles, and processed flat bar for ornamental and structural applications.

Located adjacent to Phoenix Tube’s existing 200,000 sq. ft. facility at 925 Bethlehem Drive, the new building significantly increases the company’s manufacturing footprint, adding dedicated space for production, warehousing, and offices. The expansion responds to continued growth and strong demand across Phoenix Tube’s product lines.

“This expansion marks an exciting new chapter for Phoenix Tube,” said Andrew Reale, President of Phoenix Tube Company. “We’ve seen tremendous growth in recent years, and this facility positions us to meet demand more efficiently while investing in our future. Petrucci and their team have been outstanding partners, responsive, collaborative, and committed to delivering a high-quality facility that reflects our standards.”

The new structure includes heavy manufacturing areas and a 3,200 square-foot mezzanine level for office and storage. The expansion enhances operational efficiency while providing Phoenix Tube with the flexibility to scale operations for years to come.

“From the outset, this project was about more than just adding square footage—it was about building the foundation for Phoenix Tube’s next phase of growth,” said Matt Campbell, Project Executive at J.G. Petrucci Company. “We worked closely with their team to align the design with their operational needs and deliver a facility that will serve them for decades. It’s been a true partnership, and we’re proud to help bring their vision to life.”

More than 37,000 people in the Lehigh Valley work in manufacturing, making it the region’s second-largest employment sector. When those jobs are combined with employment in logistics, the industrial sector is the single biggest driver of jobs in the Lehigh Valley, with nearly 74,000.

Manufacturing is a leading driver of the region’s record $55.7 billion economy. More than 700 manufacturers collectively produce an output of $9 billion, ranking the Lehigh Valley among the top 15% of manufacturing markets in the nation.
