The South Carolina Department of Commerce recently announced that Dannecker Fine-Tec, a supplier of precision parts for aerospace and high-tech companies, will establish its first North American operations in the Charleston region. The $3 million investment is expected to generate 40 new jobs over the next few years.
“Bringing our operations to the North American market is a big step for our company. The Charleston region provides us with an excellent business environment and a strong workforce. The area also provides us with excellent proximity to customers and access to markets. We look forward to bringing our operations online,” said Denise Dannecker, president of Dannecker Fine-Tec.
Dannecker Fine-Tec will establish its first North American manufacturing operation in the Charleston region in the coming months. The company is currently looking at existing buildings in the area to house their operations.
The German company has produced precision parts for high-tech companies in a range of business sectors, including for the aerospace, medical, semi-conductor and hydraulic markets. Dannecker Fine-Tec has become a specialist in materials traditionally considered hard to work with, such as titanium.

Dannecker Fine-Tec will begin hiring for the positions in June of 2011, and will partner with readySC in the hiring process. The company plans to hire its entire workforce from the local area.
The Dannecker Fine-Tec Gmbh was founded in 1997 by three skilled craftsmen from a family-owned business of precision mechanics.
