The South Carolina Department of Commerce and Laurens County recently announced that ISO Poly Films Inc. will expand its facility in Laurens County. The $18 million investment is expected to create 25 new jobs.

“We are pleased to move forward with plans to expand our Laurens County facility. Demand for our products is on the rise and this expansion will help us meet our customers’ needs as well as position us for future growth. South Carolina offers us an excellent business environment and the talented workforce we need. We appreciate all the support we have received from state and local officials,” said Jon McClure, CEO of ISO Poly Films Inc.

ISO Poly Films Inc. delivers high-performance films to meet the critical needs of the laminating, printing, coating and converting markets. In 2009 ISO formed a strategic partnership with Sigma Plastics Group to meet the growing demands for production.

“ISO Poly Films Inc. has been part of the South Carolina business community for more than a decade and this expansion reaffirms the company's commitment to our state and to Laurens County. As well, this expansion is another example of a high-tech start-up that has found success in the Palmetto State as a result of our favorable business climate and skilled workforce. South Carolina must continue to enhance its business-friendly climate by keeping business taxes and regulatory costs low so that we may continue to help our existing businesses grow and attract even more job opportunities for South Carolinians,” said Joe Taylor, Secretary of Commerce.

“ISO Poly Films has been a great asset to our county,” said Laurens County Council Chairman Jim Coleman.  “They have had multiple expansions since their start up and continue to create good paying jobs for our citizens.”

“Not only has ISO Poly Films created jobs and capital investment for our county, they have also been extremely active with educational opportunities for the students in the school district,” said Laurens County Development Corporation Existing Business Manager Jonathan Coleman.
