SC: PRC Laser Corp. to Invest in Charleston County, Create 73 Jobs

PRC Laser Corporation, an industrial laser and laser system manufacturer, announced plans to establish operations in Charleston County. The company's more than $1.4 million investment is projected to create 73 new jobs.
 
Founded in 1985, PRC Laser Corporation supplies original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) with proven industrial lasers that offer cost-effective and efficient technology. Additionally, the company supplies end users with unique lasers for special purpose applications. 
 
Located at 4279 K Crosspoint Drive in North Charleston, PRC Laser Corporation's new location will allow the company to increase capacity and expand its assembly and testing operations.

The Coordinating Council for Economic Development has approved job development credits related to this project.
