3 Local FastTrack Infrastructure Grants to Create New Jobs

Bredesen and Kisber Announce Three Local FastTrack Infrastructure Grants

Gov. Phil Bredesen and Economic and Community Development Commissioner Matthew Kisber recently approved FastTrack Infrastructure Development Program grants to assist in infrastructure improvements.

The following lists each recommendation and the project it will finance.

Carter County Gas Line Extension Project for Borla Performance Industries: $296,296
The Carter County grant will be used to assist Borla Performance Industries TN, Inc. with gas line extension improvements at their facility in Elizabethton. The project will create 250 new jobs for Carter County. Funding for the $10,333,490 project will include $10,000,000 in company funds and $37,194 in local funds.

City of Pulaski Site Drainage Improvement Project for Windsor USA Mold, Inc.: $83,000
The City of Pulaski grant will be used to assist Windsor USA Mold, Inc. with site drainage upgrade improvements at their facility in Pulaski. The project will provide 25 additional jobs for Giles County. Funding for the $3,000,000 project will include $2,900,000 in company funds and $17,000 in local funds.

City of Pulaski Sewer Extension Improvement Project for Ice River Springs Pulaski, LLC: $456,732
The City of Pulaski grant will be used to assist Ice River Springs Pulaski, LLC with sewer extension improvements at their facility in Pulaski. The project will provide 75 new jobs for Giles County. Funding for the $14,350,280 project will include $13,800,000 in company funds and $93,548 in local funds.
