TN: Corky's Food Manufacturing LLC to Expand Operations in Shelby County, Creating 28 New Jobs

Memphis barbecue manufacturing facility to create nearly 30 new jobs and invest $4 million through expansion.

Tennessee Gov. Bill Lee, Department of Economic and Community Development Commissioner Stuart C. McWhorter and Corky’s Food Manufacturing, LLC officials announced the company will expand manufacturing operations at its 3006 Fleetbrook Drive location in Memphis.

Corky’s will invest $4 million and create 28 new jobs to add a second shift and additional space, which will allow the company to maintain a competitive edge and take advantage of more existing market opportunities.

This project will include a freezer expansion, addition of smokers and new automation and expanded processing and packing rooms.

Corky’s Food Manufacturing, LLC makes and distributes the retail food products of Corky’s BBQ, a leading restaurant in Memphis that has eight locations across Tennessee, Arkansas and Mississippi.

Since 2020, TNECD has supported nearly 50 economic development projects in Shelby County, resulting in approximately 5,300 job commitments and $1.1 billion in capital investment.
