Buda Economic Development Corporation

Buda Economic Development Corporation (EDC) has invested millions of dollars in incentives to hundreds of businesses over the last two decades. As a Type B Economic Development Corporation created under sections 501, 504, and 505 of the Texas Local Government Code, Buda EDC is funded through a half-cent sales tax and helps to grow the Buda economy by actively recruiting new destination restaurants and retail, advanced manufacturing, and knowledge-intensive businesses to Buda; providing small business assistance and guidance; and working with existing Buda businesses by providing services to assist with growth and expansion.

Collaborating closely with the City of Buda and the Greater Buda Chamber of Commerce, we’re committed to making Buda the ideal place to do business to ensure that “Business is Better in Buda.”
