The Pflugerville Community Development Corporation (PCDC) has received the 2025 Economic Excellence Recognition from the Texas Economic Development Council (TEDC), one of the highest honors for economic development organizations in the state.
The recognition was presented during the TEDC Winter Conference in El Paso and honors organizations that meet a rigorous threshold of professionalism, leadership development, and organizational effectiveness.
The Economic Excellence Recognition program acknowledges economic development organizations that demonstrate strong professional development among governing board members, ongoing certifications and memberships, active engagement in economic development initiatives, and measurable organizational effectiveness.
PCDC was recognized alongside other leading economic development organizations across Texas that represent best practices in advancing local economies.
“This recognition reflects the focused and intentional work happening in Pflugerville every day,” said Jerry Jones Jr., Executive Director of PCDC. “Our board and staff are committed to maintaining high professional standards while delivering meaningful results for our businesses and residents.”
The Texas Economic Development Council, established in 1961, is a statewide professional association dedicated to strengthening economic and employment opportunities across Texas.
As Pflugerville continues to attract new investment, support small businesses, and strengthen infrastructure, this recognition underscores PCDC’s commitment to strategic, results-driven economic development
