UT: General RV Breaks Ground in South Weber On 15th Dealership, to Employ About 110

General RV Center, the largest family-owned RV dealer in the U.S., recently broke ground in South Weber, Utah, for its 15th supercenter store, and its second general RV store in the state. The 65,000-square-foot supercenter will include 30 service bays, a body shop and able to showcase 450 RVs. The South Weber store will employ roughly 110 people from the local community.

“We came to the valley in 2009, and our business has continued to grow over the years,” said General RV President Loren Baidas. “We’ve always talked about what the next step was, and we dreamed of adding a second store to Utah. We were diligent to find a great piece of property and a great city to work with. We’re very excited about the expansion here in South Weber, UT.”

General RV Center owns and operates 14 supercenters across seven states—Michigan, Florida, Utah, Illinois, Virginia, Ohio, and Pennsylvania. The company opened its first Utah center in Draper in 2009. The South Weber supercenter will open in the fall of 2024.
