UT: J.B. Hunt Transport Inc. to Expand Operations in Tooele County, Adding 95 New Jobs

The Utah Governor’s Office of Economic Opportunity recently awarded J.B. Hunt Transport, Inc. a post-performance tax reduction for its expansion in Tooele County. The corporate incentive is part of the state’s Rural Economic Development Tax Increment Financing (REDTIF) program. As part of the agreement, J.B. Hunt projects to add 95 new jobs and invest $18,850,000 in rural Utah during the next eight years.
