UT: Smith's Food & Drug to Employ 270 at New Grocery Store in Lehi, Utah

Grocer Smith’s Food & Drug has opened a new location in Lehi, Utah, bringing a wide selection of high-quality groceries and exceptional customer service to a growing community. It's  the second Smith’s store to open in Lehi and the 59th store to open in Utah, and will employ about 270 workers.

The 122,983-square-foot store offers an extensive assortment of fresh produce, local products, and organic options. Customers will also enjoy a variety of specialty departments and services, including sushi, a Starbucks® Coffee café, made-to-order salads and sandwiches, hot and cold chicken, fresh seafood, Boar’s Head® meats, and Murray’s Cheese®. Additional features include a full-service floral department, expanded beauty & wellness department, household goods, a drive-thru pharmacy, and convenient online grocery pickup. The store will feature digital shelf tags, providing customers with accurate pricing while they shop.

The $52 million Smith’s store, located in Telegraph Station, was built by Wadman Corporation in partnership with the Kroger Corporation.

An on-site Smith’s Fuel Center will also be available, including nine dispensing stations offering five fuel options: regular, midgrade, premium, diesel, and ethanol-free fuel.
