UT: Walker Edison Opens Corporate Headquarters in West Jordan

Walker Edison recently completed its new 125,000 square-foot corporate headquarters in West Jordan, Utah. The building, a former Shopko, is now a state-of-the-art facility complete with a 20,000 square feet video studio and a 15,000 square feet showroom.
Walker Edison’s CEO Brad Bonham claims the company would not be where they are today without Utah’s favorable business climate and excellent pro-business policies along with a talented workforce.
In deciding where to move its corporate headquarters, the company scouted several location options throughout the state, but none were a good fit until they came across space in West Jordan.
“This new building typifies who we are at Walker Edison. We lift where we stand and look for opportunities to enhance schools, neighborhoods, and communities around us,” said Brad Bonham, CEO of Walker Edison. “To turn a dilapidated old shopping center into a state-of-the-art worldwide headquarters for our multi-billion-dollar business has been a great honor. We look forward to adding hundreds of high paying jobs to this location throughout the years.”
The renovated facility is designed to inspire innovation and support a high-performance workforce. Inside the building, there are seven conference rooms of varying sizes and one large training room. The break room includes a large open space on the main level that combines booth seating, an employee market, and arcade games. The building also has a mother’s room, massage room, salon, and four privacy phone booths.
Joana McKenna, president of Walker Edison, commented, “This new space is an investment into both the future of Walker Edison as well as its incredible employees. We are looking forward to the functionality of this new space as well as our involvement in the West Jordan community.”
While many employees are currently working from home in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the office still features top accommodations as employees return to an in-person work environment. The desk areas offer flexible workstations so employees can take advantage of versatile work arrangements.
