WI: Governor Walker Announces Funding for Link Snacks, Inc.

Governor Scott Walker recently announced that Link Snacks, Inc., Minong, Washburn County, will receive $75,000 in Economic Development Tax Credits from the Department of Commerce (Commerce) to invest in new equipment.

"My number-one priority is helping Wisconsin businesses create jobs," Governor Walker said. "I am pleased we could help Link Snacks, Inc. expand and create new jobs for Washburn County."

Link Snacks, Inc., manufactures a variety of meat snacks. To meet strong demand for its products, the company will invest in new equipment that will improve manufacturing productivity. The project will create seven jobs and represent $6.8 million in total investment.
