May 27, 2026

Love’s Travel Stops is expanding its footprint in New Mexico, with the opening of a new travel stop in Truth or Consequences, off Exit 79 of Interstate 25, creating 77 local jobs. The new travel stop has 63 truck parking spaces and provides free parking for Love’s customers, helping to address the national truck parking shortage. So far in 2026, Love’s has added 870 truck parking spaces across the country.

Located between existing travel stops in Las Cruces and Albuquerque, the new location in Truth or Consequences provides a much-needed stop for professional drivers and motorists navigating I-25 in New Mexico. This expansion directly supports the national supply chain by adding essential truck parking and fueling capacity in a region where reliable, clean amenities are vital for driver safety and vehicle efficiency.

The Truth or Consequences location includes plenty of snack, drink and food options, including Love’s fresh food items prepared on-site daily, and Arby’s. As a new Love’s location, the Truth or Consequences travel stop has space allocated for EV chargers, allowing Love’s to quickly partner with local utility companies to install charging stations should customer demand arise.

In honor of the grand opening in Truth or Consequences, Love’s will donate $5,000 to Hot Springs High School and $5,000 to the University of New Mexico Children’s Hospital. Additionally, Love’s district managers work with eligible nonprofits in their area to make donations through community grants on an annual basis.

Love’s also recently celebrated the grand reopenings of its travel stops in Marion, Indiana, and Encinal, Texas, under its Road Ahead Plan. Updates to the Marion location include 74 new truck parking spaces, for a new total of 221 parking spaces; a remodeled sales floor, restrooms, and showers; and an overall updated look and feel.
