Stephen Moret

 Appointed Louisiana Economic Development secretary by Governor Bobby Jindal in January 2008, Stephen Moret has transformed LED into one of the nation’s top state economic development agencies. LED has become a fast, creative and highly responsive partner for corporate executives and site selection consultants; a champion for small business and existing Louisiana employers; and the architect of Louisiana’s economic renaissance. Secretary Moret earned a B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering from LSU and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
