Ed Hamberger

Ed Hamberger serves as President and CEO of the Association of American Railroads. Prior to joining the AAR, he was a managing partner of the Washington, D.C., office of Baker, Donelson, Bearman & Caldwell. Mr. Hamberger began his career in transportation in 1977 as General Counsel of the National Transportation Policy Study Commission. He has served on the Private Sector Advisory Panel on Infrastructure Financing and on the Presidential Commission on Intermodal Transportation. He received his JD, and both Master of Science and Bachelor of Science in Foreign Service, from Georgetown University.
