Maynard Herron

Maynard Herron, P.E. is engineering manager, AGCO Corporation. Directly involved in agriculture all his life, Maynard grew up on a wheat and cattle farm in Western Kansas learning to deal with drought and wind erosion. In his current role, Herron is responsible for Product Proving at AGCO’s Hesston, Kansas, site. In his 36-year AGCO career he has overseen the development and launch of several forage and hay harvesting products. He recently served as principal investigator for a biomass harvest and logistics demonstration grant from the U.S. Department of Energy (DE-EE0001035). Herron is named as individual or joint inventor on 15 U.S. patents.
