Governor Earl Ray Tomblin, a native of Logan County, serves as West Virginia’s 35th governor. Throughout his 42 years of public service, Governor Tomblin has remained dedicated to creating a better West Virginia by establishing a world-class education system, strengthening the state’s workforce and growing the economy. Governor Tomblin understands the importance of strong communities and has spearheaded landmark reforms to keep West Virginia communities safe through his substance abuse and justice reinvestment efforts.
