Maria Luisa M. Haley was named executive director of the Arkansas Economic Development Commission by Governor Mike Beebe in January 2007. She was previously senior director with Kissinger McLarty Associates. She served on the board of the Export Import Bank of the United States, was deputy assistant to President Bill Clinton and deputy director of Presidential Personnel at the White House. Maria also served as an advisor and consultant to President Gloria Arroyo and the Philippine government.
