Governor Kay Ivey

Kay Ivey is Alabama’s 54th Governor. A product of rural Wilcox County, she learned on her father’s farm the value of hard work and living within one’s means. She has dedicated her life to serving others, including time spent as a school teacher and an economic development official. She was elected to serve two terms as State Treasurer and Lieutenant Governor. As Governor, Ivey has focused on economic development and improving the state’s education system.
