As Texas’ 47th Governor, Rick Perry’s administration has focused on creating a Texas of unlimited opportunity and prosperity. Gov. Perry recently worked with lawmakers during the 81st Legislative Session to pass a balanced budget and cut taxes to more than 40,000 small businesses without touching the state’s rainy day fund, which is expected to grow to more than $9 billion over the next two years. Under Gov. Perry’s leadership, Texas continues to be an attractive place to start or relocate a business, live and raise a family.
